The context
ESN Napoli is the Naples section of Erasmus Student Network and runs events for international students in the city. It needed a way to get those events to students in the network and to help people arriving alone meet others.
What I built
On my own I designed and built the app: the section publishes events and news, students book tickets, request the ESNcard with partner discounts and can get in touch with each other even as strangers.
How it went
ESN Napoli used it in 2023 to promote its events. The app is no longer published.
Technical deep dive
A Flutter app with a Firebase backend: Firestore for events, news and partners, push notifications for new events.
Tickets booked in the app, with their confirmation status and the share of places already taken for each event.
A separate Flutter panel let the section publish and manage the content.
