The context
Symposium brings together personal growth coaches on money, health and relationships. It needed one place where members could find courses and masterclasses, and where the group could publish new ones on its own.
What I built
I built the app and the course back office on my own, from the first idea to the App Store and Google Play release. Later a UI/UX designer joined me to redo the interface.
How it went
More than 30 courses published and a community that grew past 1,600 active members. The app is now run by another team.
Technical deep dive
The first version was a Flutter app with a Laravel back office for courses, users and content.
Later I migrated the backend from Laravel to Firebase: pay-as-you-go costs instead of a fixed server, a single ecosystem, and Firebase's Flutter packages, both made by Google, which fit together without friction.
